Thinking of ways to create an extra space for another room – like an office, bathroom or anything you like?
We can make it possible through loft conversion!
Here’s to give you an idea on what it does!
The value of a home can be increased by up to 20 percent if a nicely done loft conversion that does not tamper with garden space is in place. Your location, as well as materials used and size will determine how much a loft conversion will cost you. However, you can plan with a rough estimate of £10,000 – £40,000 in mind.
Most loft conversions do not require permission to get set up. For example, if you want to add 40 cubic meters in a terraced house, or 50 cubic meters in a detached or semi-detached house, these levels of development have been pre-permitted. You only have to ensure that the conversion does not protrude beyond certain points.
A loft conversion is cheap and with one done, a property’s appearance will be maintained. But on the flip side, that property’s height will be limited. If the thought of this bothers you, perhaps you should consider a dormer loft conversion instead; it has vertical windows and doors, giving enough head and staircase allowances. Loft conversions by us are designed with raised party wall brickwork and are sloped by 70 degrees at the rear wall. This makes them look less boxy than a dormer, but planning permission is required to get one done.
